These terms govern the use of the Meridu website and services, including user obligations, communication rules, and liability limits.
Updated: 2026-05-22
1. Introduction
These Terms of Service govern your use of the meridu.com website and any services provided by us. By accessing or using the site, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these terms.
2. Changes to the terms
We, Meridu, reserve the right to modify or update these terms at any time by posting a revised version on the site. If we make significant changes, we will endeavor to notify you, for example by email or by a notice on the site.
Your continued use of the site after any changes indicates your acceptance of the updated terms.
3. User obligations
You agree to use the site for lawful purposes only and in compliance with all applicable laws. In particular, you agree:
- Not to use any automated system to scrape the site or collect personal information from other users without their consent.
- Not to attempt to gain unauthorized access to the site’s servers or related infrastructure.
- Not to use the site’s content or services for illegal, fraudulent, or harmful activities.
- To respect the rights of other users and adhere to general standards of internet etiquette.
4. Intellectual property
All content on this site, including text, graphics, logos, icons, images, and videos, is owned by Meridu or is licensed to us unless otherwise stated. Unauthorized copying, distribution, modification, or other use of any content is prohibited without prior written consent, except as allowed by law.
5. Third-party links
The site may include links to external websites or resources that are not controlled or maintained by Meridu. We are not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or other aspects of these external sites. Accessing such sites is at your own risk.
6. Disclaimer of warranties
The site and any services provided through it are offered "as is" without any express or implied warranties. Neither Meridu nor its officers, employees, partners, or suppliers shall be liable for damages arising out of or in connection with the use of or inability to use the site.
7. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold Meridu harmless from any claims, losses, expenses, or damages resulting from your use of the site in violation of these terms or applicable laws.
8. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the site without prior notice if you violate these terms, the law, or if necessary to protect the site or other users.
9. Governing law and dispute resolution
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Lithuania. Any disputes arising from or relating to these terms shall first be resolved through negotiation. If negotiations fail, disputes shall be brought before a competent court in the jurisdiction of our principal place of business.
10. Payments and subscriptions
Some Meridu services are provided on a paid subscription basis. Fees, billing cycles (monthly or annual), and what each plan includes are shown on the pricing page in effect at the time of purchase. Key terms:
- Fees are charged in advance and renew automatically at the start of each billing cycle until cancelled. Stated prices are exclusive of VAT and other applicable taxes, which will be added as required by law.
- Payments are processed by Stripe. When you subscribe or update payment details, you are redirected to Stripe's checkout. Meridu does not store your card number, CVV, or other payment method details — these are held by Stripe under their own terms and security standards.
- If a payment fails, we may suspend paid features until the issue is resolved.
- Upgrading or downgrading a plan takes effect immediately or at the next billing cycle, as indicated at the time of the change. Downgrades or cancellation may reduce the features and capacity available to you.
11. Cancellation and refunds
You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. Cancellation stops future renewals; you keep access to paid features until the end of the current billing period.
All paid subscription fees are non-refundable, including for partial billing periods, unused features, or planned downtime, except where a refund is required by applicable law or where the service has been substantially unavailable due to our fault.
We may terminate or suspend your subscription if you materially breach these terms or fail to pay amounts due. Statutory consumer rights, where applicable, are not affected by this section.
12. Communications
By providing your email address or phone number and booking services through the site, you agree that we may send you emails and or SMS messages related to your booking, such as confirmations, reminders, and updates. We may also send information about other services or special offers where separate consent is required by law.
You may opt out of marketing communications at any time, but you cannot opt out of transactional messages necessary for booking confirmation and service provision.
